As an energy management consultant, Berend has experience with distributed energy resources, forecasting in energy transition, valuation studies for ecosystem services, data analytics strategy development, and data management practices. Through analytics, reporting and data management, he helps clients in their journey towards a more data-driven approach within asset management, the control room, and operations. He strives to clearly understand what clients need and provides sustainable, long term solutions that meets those needs—he helps them envision the art of the possible and make it a reality.
When he’s not providing data-driven solutions, Berend enjoys the fresh air of his natural surroundings as a cyclist, hiker, and skier.
